Henri Bungert is carving out a singular path between international stages and unclassifiable music. A singer-songwriter, he blends acoustic guitar with modern textures, drawing from reggae, soul, French chanson, and global rhythms. Behind his blonde curls, he flows effortlessly between styles. Somewhere between Bob Marley, Manu Chao, Brassens, Christophe Maé, and Nemir, he forges his own way. Inspired by his journeys between Paris, London, Mexico, and Dakar, he has opened for Christophe Maé, Louis Bertignac, and soon Keziah Jones. His upcoming EP Ailleurs c’est toi, written and composed in Senegal, begins with the track Hiver à Paris, where his soulful voice delves into absence, grief, and rediscovered light. A music both sincere and radiant—just like his world.

Writing love songs has helped him through difficult times, and he now hopes to bring comfort to others through his music.
